“The room had cockroaches, and when I spoke at the front desk lady about it, she made me aware that she didn’t know that there were cockroaches there, but that they spray for them. When I asked her why she would want to rent out that room with cockroaches she rolled her eyes and said we spray. She then went and got the manager who didn’t care either. He made a comment about how they inspect for cockroaches. He then informed me that he was not gonna be able to do anything about my stay and that he...

“need to fix the hot tub.”

“very nice view large open rooms and central location”

“Everything was great. I just thought that the extra cleaning fee that was tacked on was excessive.”

“New ownership is fantastic! Loved our stay. Pool and sauna were great. We will be back.”

“The room was not clean at all. Stained linens, stained carpet, broken A/C unit. Smell was horrible. Pool and hot tub were mucky looking. Will never book here again.”

“The bed was very uncomfortable, too much stuff in a room to get around, breakfast was served after we left. Breakfast could have been earlier. Proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. I don't think I would do a bed and breakfast ever again. Not for me.”

“Extremely nice, clean, quiet motel on the edge of Hayward, WI. Our first time staying here and we definitely will return. The owners are super nice and helpful. The motel was newly remodeled and very nice. Excellent beds! Nice area with a fridge/freezer, microwave and Keurig. We loved our stay here and have already recommended it to others.”

“The pictures are very accurate of what the cabin looks like. The lake view is amazing! Visiting in October, it was nice and quiet even with most of the other cabins booked. Matt was very communicative before, during if needed, and after stay.”

“the room was clean but in need of some updating and minor repairs such as new caulking in bath/shower area. I was in a room that had the bars in tub area for easier access and a higher toilet that I liked plenty of room in both bathroom area and sleeping area. Food served there was good but a bit pricey. It was located in a good central area to access to other places of interests”

“Stayed in this cabin for three nights with my 12 year old dog for a little R & R. I can't say enough great things about this cabin. It was super cute, clean with everything I needed. The wooded area on Hayward Lake felt very private even though it was close to town. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Walking/biking path ran along the edge of the property. Bed was very comfortable. Heat and ac in the cabin with easy to use instructions. Check in and out process was easy. Great...

“The cabin we slept in was clean however outside on the steps were not clean off nor was the grill ready to use”

“The cabin is exactly as described and in a terrific location. Mike was a great host and quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again. Loved it!”

“Fantastic! Quiet neighborhood with fun playground and excellent beach for the little ones. Had a wonderful time!!”

“Great little spot. We enjoyed our stay!! and it’s an easy walk home from dinner downstairs haha”

“We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins. Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space.”
